My father was born in Ipoh in 1932. Somehow in all my travels around Malaysia in the last 45 years, I did not pay much attention to Ipoh. Places like Penang, Taiping, Kuantan, Langkawi seemed to offer much more than Ipoh, It is only after visiting Ipoh this time I realised that Ipoh had so much more offer. It is certainly much more unique compared to many of the other Cities and towns in Malaysia. Well worth more than a day’s trip.
